Our principles in practice
Publicly available only
Content must be reachable by any visitor without an account, payment or circumvention.
Site terms and robots
We read the terms and honour robots directives. Sources that forbid automated collection are excluded or approached for permission.
Personal data and UK GDPR
Data about identifiable people is avoided by default. Where needed for research, we require a lawful basis, minimisation and your ethics approval before collecting.
Copyright and database rights
We flag licence status per source and deliver data for the agreed research purpose. Redistribution rights are stated in the datasheet.
Do no harm
We decline projects that could expose vulnerable people, enable harassment or support covert tracking.
Takedown and opt-out
Site owners and individuals can contact contact@kabuuga.co.uk to raise concerns. We respond and act on valid requests.

What if a site blocks automated access?
We treat that as a no, unless the owner gives permission. We may suggest an official API, bulk data release or contacting the owner.
Can you help with an ethics application?
Yes. We can supply a plain-language description of the collection method, data fields and safeguards to include in your application.
How do I report a concern about our collection?
Email contact@kabuuga.co.uk with the page address and your concern. We will investigate and reply.
